Dr. V. R.K. Sastry is the Principal of Avanthi Institute of Engineering & Technology. He was born on july 1st, 1945. He is B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. He completed his M.E. in Heat Power from Osmania University in 1969. He obtained his PHD from IIT Roorkee in the year 1989.

He has 35 years of R&D experience in both applied and basic research in Industrial Tribology & I.C. Engines and held various grades in scientist cadre.

He has also rich teaching and academic experience at various institutions. To his credit he published 18 National and 8 International Scientific Papers & attended 18 conferences both at National and International levels.
